For 20 years, the Medical Guild has supported Parma Hospital’s work through philanthropy. Consisting largely of physician spouses but open to other community members interested in supporting the hospital, the Guild has raised more than $35,000 for the hospital and the community. The Guild works annually with the Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation on both the Renaissance Ball and the Golf Outing. The Guild’s many volunteer hours benefit local charities as well as the hospital. Recently the Guild helped to furnish the playroom in the Emergency Department reception area. The Guild was proud to make the first pledge of $10,000 to support the Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation’s Challenge Campaign, working to raise funds to enhance the unique facilities offered by Parma Hospital’s acclaimed ElderCenter adult day services.
