A Night at the Pagoda
Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation
hosts an elegant evening with an Asian-fusion theme
March 7, 2009
Enjoy an enchanting “Night at the Pagoda,” as the Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation hosts its 15th Annual Renaissance Ball on Saturday, March 7. The black-tie event, held in the Grand Ballroom of the Embassy Suites in Independence, will feature a live auction, Asian-inspired cuisine and a night of dancing to the Jerry Bruno Orchestra.
The Renaissance Ball is an annual philanthropic opportunity to advance community health. Last year’s spectacular Moroccan-themed event drew 400 guests to a memorable oasis replete with flickering candles, dramatic floral arrangements suspended from the ceiling, exotic belly dancers and a Moroccan-spiced menu.
The Foundation seeks to lead community support for aiding underserved persons, as well as health care initiatives that emphasize dignity and quality of life. Major grants in 2008 went to the Parma Health Ministry serving the uninsured and underinsured, Parma Hospital’s ElderCenter adult day care, the American Cancer Society, the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center, Womankind Maternal & Prenatal Care Center and All Faiths Pantry.
Says Marcia Ferguson, the Foundation’s executive director: "I am proud to be part of this Foundation, whose trustees have been committed to caring for the uninsured for quite some time."
