Casino Royale: Foundation hosts 16th Annual Renaissance Ball

Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Leave the frosty winter behind and enter the thrilling atmosphere of an elegant casino-themed evening, reminiscent of the famous Casino Royale in Monte Carlo at the Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation’s 16th Annual Renaissance Ball, held Saturday, March 6 at the Embassy Suites in Independence.

Guests will enjoy a top-of-the-line dinner buffet, artfully displayed appetizers and creative cocktails at their leisure while trying their luck at poker, roulette and other games of chance. Throughout the evening, which begins at 6 p.m. and concludes at 11 p.m., guests can participate in raffles and sideboards. The featured raffle is a four-day, three-night San Francisco vacation, complete with a choice Union Square hotel, a relaxing tour of Wine Country and airline funds.

The Renaissance Ball is an annual philanthropic opportunity to advance community health. Last year’s event drew nearly 400 guests to an enchanting evening with Asian-infused cuisine, a live auction and dancing. While last year’s event was a black-tie affair, cocktail attire is suggested for Casino Royale.

The Foundation supports Parma Hospital’s mission to care for the health and wellbeing of the community within and beyond the walls of the hospital. In 2009 the Foundation supported Parma Hospital’s Seasons of Life Hospice and other services for Parma Hospital patients and families, care for uninsured working people, health education and nutrition programs for the adults and children in the Parma Hospital service area, cancer research and so much more.

Tickets for the Renaissance Ball are $150 per person. For tickets or sponsorship opportunities, please call 440-743-4280.
