Community Express Care brings quick, accessible and affordable health care right to your own community drug store. Backed by Parma Community General Hospital and in collaboration with a board-certified family practice physician, these convenient walk-in clinics located in Discount Drug Mart stores in Independence and Olmsted Falls, provide courteous, efficient care for basic illnesses, immunizations and screenings.

Certified Nurse Practitioners – registered nurses with advanced degrees and clinical training –provide diagnosis and treatment of these common, non-emergency medical conditions for ages 2 and up:

  • Bee stings, cuts, abrasions
  • Bronchitis, sinusitis, upper respiratory tract infections, strep throat
  • Stomach viruses, acute diarrhea, mononucleosis
  • Conjunctivitis, ear infections
  • Cold sores, common warts, acne
  • Poison ivy, ringworm
  • Urinary tract infections in females ages 12-65
