Parma Hospital’s fully accredited Laboratory performs over 1 million tests per year, using leading-edge equipment and technologies. The Laboratory, accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks, is located on the first floor of Parma Hospital, in the main hallway next to Radiology.
Before receiving Laboratory services, patients must register in Outpatient Registration, located on the ground floor of Parma Hospital off the main lobby. Physician orders are required for all testing, with the exception of pregnancy tests and 24-hour strep throat tests. Both of those tests are available for $10, payable by check or exact cash.
Walk-in hours are as follows:
Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday 7 a.m.-1 p.m.
Closed Sundays and legal holidays.
Appointments are required for glucose tolerance tests. Call 440-743-4017.
