Child Care Center
For more than 25 years, Parma Hospital has offered affordable, quality day care for the children of its employees and physicians. The Child Care Center is now open to the public as well.
The state-licensed Center, star-rated by the State of Ohio’s Step Up to Quality program, cares for children ages 6 weeks to Kindergarten. A program for school-age children up to age 8 is available during summer and holiday breaks.
The Center operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. Located in Parma Hospital’s Health Education Center at 7300 State Road, which is a former Parma school building, the Center has access to an outdoor playground, hot meals from a cafeteria, a gymnasium for activities during inclement weather and an auditorium where an annual holiday concert and preschool graduation areheld. Children are organized into separate classes for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, with the focus on Creative Curriculum.
Discounts are given for Parma Hospital employees, as well as for families with more than one child enrolled in the program. Breakfasts, lunches and snacks – as well as diapers for the younger children –are included in the cost.
