Child Care Center
For more than 25 years, Parma Hospital has offered affordable, quality day care for the children of its employees and physicians. The Child Care Center is now open to the public as well.
The state-licensed center, star-rated by the State of Ohio’s 'Step Up to Quality' program; cares for children ages six-weeks to Kindergarten. A program for school-age children up to age eight is available during summer and holiday breaks.
Located in Parma Hospital’s Health Education Center at 7300 State Road, a former Parma City School building, the Center has access to an outdoor playground, hot meals from a cafeteria, a gymnasium for activities during inclement weather and an auditorium where an annual holiday concert and preschool graduation are held. Children are organized into separate classes for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers, with the focus on Creative Curriculum.
Discounts are available for Parma Hospital employees, as well as for families with more than one child enrolled in the program. Breakfasts, lunches and snacks – as well as diapers for the younger children – are included in the cost.
