The Program - The Heart Center at Parma Community General Hospital is a unique program that offers continuity of care to its patients. Throughout the entire recovery process, patients will be able to stay in one room from admission through discharge.
The Center - Two heart surgery suites and three high-risk catheterization labs furnished with the most advanced equipment will be the site for patient procedures. Recovery takes place within the 14 totally enclosed, separate rooms where patients and their families will have the privacy and quiet that is so important during the recovery process. Each room is furnished with state-of-the-art equipment to provide the best possible care. Showers are located in the unit to enable patients to return to normal activities as soon as medically possible. In addition, the unit and surrounding areas have telemetry capabilities, allowing patients and their families to walk and interact outside of The Heart Center while still being monitored.

Some members of the staff come to the program with 17-23 years of experience in heart care to share and build upon.
