Outright Giving
-
A monetary gift to The Parma Hospital Health
Care Foundation is the most common way you
can help. A gift can be in any dollar amount
and is fully tax-deductible as allowed by
law. Your gift can be given to a specific
Parma Hospital program or the area of greatest
need.
-
You and your loved ones can remember Parma
Hospital beyond your lifetime by suggesting
friends and family make memorial gifts in
lieu of flowers to the Hospital or any of
its departments.
-
The Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation
hosts two special events each year, its Renaissance
Evening in March and the Golf Classic in June.
Individual and corporate tickets are available
for each event as are sponsorships entitling
you or your organization to tickets and/or
advertising. Both events include silent auctions
and raffles. To learn more or to be on the
invitation list for these functions, call
the Foundation office at 440/743-4280. In
2003 the Renaissance Evening raised over $53,000
for the Seasons of Life Residential Hospice.
Planned Gifts
Securities: A gift of appreciated securities is gaining popularity today. Tax on the amount earned by the sale of securities or stocks can be offset when the securities are charitably donated. For more detailed personal information, contact your attorney or financial planner. You can receive the appropriate paperwork from the Foundation office by calling 440/743-4280 and asking for the security transfer form.
Bequests: You can continue your support of The Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation through a bequest to Parma Community General Hospital. For detailed information contact your financial planner or attorney and make them aware of your wish to place the Hospital in your will. Use of the appropriate terminology will help to ensure that your gift is legally binding and will be used according to your wishes. Sample bequest language is:
I bequeath to Parma Community General Hospital through The Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation (insert dollar amount, percent of total estate or property to be donated) to be used for its exempt purpose.
