Community Grants Program
Through its community grant program, the Foundation
has responded to the needs of the Parma Health
Ministry, the Ridgewood YMCA and the Health Museum
of Cleveland's Health on Wheels program.

Applications can be requested by calling
the Foundation office at (440) 743-4280,
or by writing the office at 7007 Powers
Boulevard, Parma, OH 44129. The application
can also be downloaded
here.

What organizations are eligible to receive funding? |
|
Eligible organizations with a federal 501(c)(3)
non-profit status whose program benefits
citizens in the areas surrounding Parma,
Ohio can apply. Projects in need of funding
should focus on the following criteria:
Aging; Children and Youth; Community development;
Education; Health care; Human services;
Mental health; Safety; Senior citizens.

What is the application deadline? |
|
The Request Review Committee meets the
second Wednesday of April and October. The
completed application and any supplementary
materials (letters of support, budgets,
annual or financial reports, etc.) are due
30 days prior to this date. For a specific
schedule year-to-year, contact the Foundation
office at (440) 743-4280.

When will my organization be notified of a decision? |
|
Upon the recommendation of the Request
Review Committee, the full Foundation Board
will act on your grant the first Wednesday
of May and November. Notification of approval,
denial or partial funding will be mailed
to you by month's end.

The Renaissance Service Award
This $500 award recognizes young men and women
who, as volunteers, make a positive impact and
lead or inspire others in service to worthy community
causes. A service award will be given to a senior
student who best exemplifies the ideals of service
and volunteerism. A total of ten (10) awards will
be given to high school seniors attending:

The awards process begins each November and awards
are presented in March of the following year.
